The InfraGas® dryer by
Coprocess of Brazil, is an innovative product that generates short wave
radiation energy that can be used to provide additional drying capacity to a
paper machine that is dryer limited or for drying after a size press or coater.
The InfraGas dryer can also be used to correct the moisture profile across the
machine. As can be seen in the illustration of the dryer module, the dryer is divided up into
smaller individually controlled sections permitting the radiation energy to be
controlled across the machine width.
The irradiator is very
easy to install and in most cases little or no modification of the paper
machine is necessary. It can be fueled by Natural Gas or LPG.
