The Krogh Pump Company has been manufacturing
pumps since 1868 they were recently purchased by Carver Pump Company. Please

The pump that has been the mainstay of
the vacuum filtration process is the Krogh Model 55-OH shown below. This pump is mounted
directly on the filtrate receiver tank and requires no level controls.
The pump is self priming and has very low NPSH requirements. The photo below
right shows the Model 55-OH with optional swing out feature for easy inspection
and maintenance.
