GRINDERS

Typical applications would be as follows:

  • Protection of submersible or dry well sewage pumps prone to blockage problems.
  • Economical solution to small headworks requirements.
  • Efficient disintegration of screenings prior to treatment.
  • Disintegration of sludge prior to dewatering e.g. with centrifuge or belt press equipment.
  • High volume fine grinding of sludge improving digester efficiency.
  • Solids size reduction at waste treatment plants with septic receiving stations.

The TR Muncher™ in-line grinder shown at left is particularly well suited to grind septic waste, sewage and sludge. The built-in stone or trash trap can be fitted with a flushing feature. The cantilevered dual shaft cutters eliminate the need for lower bearings and seals thus reducing maintenance costs and down time. The TR Muncher is available for pipe sizes of 4",6",8",10" and 12" diameter. The SB Muncher is available for smaller pipe sizes.
